Iceskating at Lake Weissensee
The unique ice experience becomes reality at Lake Weissensee in Carinthia. The 6. 5 km² large Lake Weissensee is the largest constantly freezing and also prepared natural ice surface in Europe. Right on time, around 25. November (Kathrein), a thin layer of ice begins to form on the small western part of Lake Weissensee. From mid-December to the beginning of March, the up to 40 cm thick ice cover is the perfect place for ice sports enthusiasts and winter hikers who enjoy the unique scenery.

Our house is centrally located, close to the forest in a sunny, quiet location away from traffic. it has 3 nice double rooms. The rooms have shower/WC and balcony with lake view. We offer our guests an extended breakfast in the cozy lounge. SAT-TV and guest fridge included. There are sun loungers and rowing boats at the private beach.
